FDA Advisory Panel To Consider Viagra Juvenile Lung Condition
(Undated) -- Viagra for kids? An FDA advisory panel takes up the question today. The panel will be looking at the popular Pfizer drug to determine if it safe and effective for use by children suffering from a lung condition known as pulmonary arterial hypertension. The working theory behind the use of Viagra is that it modifies blood flows, meaning it could potentially reduce high blood pressure in the lungs of a child suffering from PAH. If approved, it would be marketed under the name Revatio. |
