NFL Issues Warning About Concussions
(New York, NY) -- The NFL is making sure its players know the extreme dangers that can result from concussions. "The New York Times" says the NFL is sending out a new poster about concussions that will be hung in all locker rooms around the league. The blunt new sign, which will also be made into a brochure to be handed out to the players, stresses the dangers of head injuries. One sentence says concussions "can change your life and your family's life forever." The new warning is much more serious than the one it replaces. The former alert said it wasn't proven that multiple concussions could cause permanent damage as long as they were treated properly. The new poster also lists the symptoms of concussions. |
