Hearing Loss Potentially Most Damaging To Friendships
(West Palm Beach, FL) -- If you suffered significant hearing loss, how do you think that would impact your life? Many people believe it would harm their social life more than their home life, with 29-percent of the adults taking part in a HearUSA survey saying they think it would have a negative impact on their friendships. By comparison, 13-percent feel it would hurt their relationships with family members, and just one-percent says it would damage their sex life. While 12-percent believe hearing loss would affect their job performance, only four-percent think it would hurt their income. Nearly a quarter of those polled think it would leave them more vulnerable overall, with 22-percent noting it would affect their safety. But just four-percent think losing their hearing would harm their overall health. |
