Comedy, Jazz, And Country Reign Supreme During June Events At The Seneca Casinos  |

Seneca Gaming Corporation continues its tradition of providing top-notch entertainment during the month of June. Guests can expect lots of laughs, jazz, and country at its casinos in Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Salamanca, N.Y.
The Seneca Niagara Events Center and the Seneca Allegany Events Center each seat around 2,400 patrons, while the Bear’s Den Showroom at the at the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel provides a more intimate venue with 475 seats.
June begins with laughs at the Bear’s Den, as comedian Richard Lewis provides stand-up comedy on Friday, June 4 at 8 p.m. One week later on June 11, country-pop band Restless Heart, who strung together six No. 1 hits in a row on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in the 1990s, will perform. The following night, one floor up at the Events Center, the entertainment returns to laughter when Lewis Black of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart-fame brings his politically-tinged humor to Niagara Falls.
The Bear’s Den performances in June round out with a pair of Grammy Award-winning jazz greats: musician, producer, and bass player Marcus Miller performs at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 20; and legendary bassist Stanley Clarke performs at 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 26. Clarke will be accompanied by a band and Japanese pianist Hiromi Uehara.
Dennis DeYoung, the singer for legendary rock band Styx, caps the June performances at the Seneca Niagara Events Center with a much-anticipated show on Friday, June 25, at 8 p.m.
The Seneca Allegany Casino in Salamanca plays host to three entertainment acts in June, beginning with The Charlie Daniels Band – known for its high-energy country and fiddling – on Sunday, June 6, at 4 p.m. in the Events Center. A group of legendary soap stars from The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful visits the casino on Saturday, June 12, from 1 to 4 p.m., for a free meet-and-greet with the public. Peter Bergman, Michelle Stafford, Doug Davidson, and Don Diamont are confirmed to attend. The Events Center then provides a night of laughs on Saturday, June 19, at 7 p.m., as renowned comedian Carlos Mencia takes the stage.
