CHAMBER AND MAST MEMBERS CAN SAVE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON A MBA AT PENN STATE
As a Chamber and MAST member, a significant discount is offered to you to obtain a Masters in Business Administration from Penn State.
A short drive from Chautauqua County, the Penn State Behrend campus offers a great opportunity for local businesses and their employees to attain a MBA. Classes in the program can be taken on a part-time basis and in the evening to accommodate busy work schedules.
At the Sam and Irene Black School of Business, students have an opportunity to learn in a smaller setting and gain knowledge from a major research institution.
The Sam and Irene Black School of Business was in Princeton’s Reviews as “Best Business Schools” and also has been called “one of the rising stars among Eastern business schools.”

IT IS ROCKET SCIENCE!
LET THE CHAMBER HELP PUT NASA TECHNOLOGY TO WORK
FOR YOU THROUGH SATOP
The Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce and Manufacturers Association partners with SATOP to bring the program to Chautauqua County so the private sector may benefit from the technology of the space program.
The program provides up to 40 hours of free engineering assistance to companies facing technical challenges. The program is intended to help solve technology challenges which cannot be resolved by a company’s own internal resources, or by commercially available services. Areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, materials, structural, facilities, chemical, electrical, electronics, and environmental engineering.
Any business with 500 or fewer employees that is facing a technical or production challenge may complete a short Request for Technical Assistance (RTA). SATOP will review the request to see whether it could be solved through commercial means or would be best addressed by Space Alliance engineers. Issues that can be solved commercially will be sent back with suggestions for solutions.
In order for SATOP to accept a request, the problem must be achievable within 40 hours engineering time. The request must focus on a specific issue and should be something that is outside the scope of normal commercial services. When the RTA is received, a SATOP project engineer will be appointed to act as a liaison between the business and the Space Alliance engineers.
To complete an RTA or for more information about SATOP, visit www.spacetechsolutions.com.
